  6. Although I ask for no payment for this version, FileSync is shareware.
  7. You may use and distribute this program freely as long as it is not modified
  8. in any form and that you do not charge for it. All I ask is that e-mail me
  9. if you find it useful and in return I will let you know when the next major
  10. release becomes available.

  12. FileSync is a simple utility that let's you display the contents of two
  13. folders side by side and synchronize them by copying the more recent and
  14. missing files to required folder.

  16. No, I didn't get the idea from the WMatch utility in PC Magazine, although
  17. the principle is the same. I have a version that I wrote in VB over 2 years
  18. ago, please don't tell anyone!

  20. FileSync, however, is 32bit, supports long file names, stores all settings in
  21. the registry and is written in C++ with MFC.

  23. I have not yet had the chance to add all the features that I would like but I
  24. have a list, and if you mail me with feedback I might include some of your
  25. feature requests.
